成立于2007年12月，属省管民营安装建筑施工企业。于2015年6月，由原“湖南天人机电设备安装有限公司”更名为“湖南天人安装建设有限公司”。公司注册资本陆仟万元；现有员工1000余人，各类专业技术人员400余人，技术工人600余人，其中合格焊工150余人。 公司拥有机电工程、石油化工工程、冶金工程、电力工程、市政公用工程、建筑工程施工总承包和钢结构工程、环保工程、建筑装修装饰工程、建筑机电安装工程、消防设施工程、防水防腐保温工程、城市及道路照明工程、电子与智能化工程专业承包等企业资质；获得了GB1、GB2及GC2级压力管道和锅炉Ⅰ级等特种设备安装改造维修许可资格；通过了ISO9001、ISO14001和OHSAS18001管理体系认证；取得了中石化工程建设市场资源库成员证书、中国石油天然气管道局市场准入证及中国石油管道公司市场准入证；是湖南省地源热泵建筑应用技术企业。 公司现有20余个分公司、6个直属工程部及若干项目经理部，经营版图扩展到全国28个省、市、自治区及泰国、印度尼西亚。公司设有专业钢结构生产厂（钢结构分公司），拥有两条年产1.5万吨的钢结构自动生产线；还设有专业吊装运输分公司，合作拥有各型汽车起重机及履带吊五十余台、山地风叶运输车辆21台及其他大件运输车辆25台。
